Xi'an Key Laboratory of Cyberspace Security Technology is a municipal-level key laboratory hosted by Xi'an University, dedicated to research and engineering applications in cyberspace security with deep integration of industry, academia, and research.

The lab stands at the forefront of cyberspace security tech, conducting in-depth research on key scientific questions and core techs in cryptography, data security, and network security within emerging application scenarios such as cloud computing, theIoT, big data, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. Its research features are distinctive and its accomplishments are substantial. The lab has independently developed the Cyber Attack-Defense Range Competition System, an advanced training platform that provides a robust environment for cybersecurity skill development and live-fire attack-defense drills. It serves as a leading academic exchange hub and talent cultivation base for network and information security in Xi'an. In recent years, the lab has achieved outstanding results in mentoring students for academic competitions and cybersecurity industry events.

The lab's team comprisesfivesenior researchers,fourPh.D. holders, andfiveindustry experts from partner enterprises. It has undertakennineprovincial and municipal vertical projects and 18 enterprise-sponsored horizontal projects, with cumulative funding exceedingfivemillionyuan. Over the pastfiveyears, the team has published20 high-impact academic papers, authoredtwomonographs, obtainedtwoinvention patents, and received Third Prize of Shaanxi Provincial Higher Education Science and Technology Award.
