As a public university founded in 2003 with a history tracing back to 1609 (Guanzhong Academy), Xi'an University (XAU) is a master's degree-granting institution and a key pilot for transformation and development in Shaanxi Province. It integrates classical academy heritage with modern education and serves Xi'an's regional development through over 70 industry-university-research cooperation platforms and multiple provincial-level research institutions. It has won honors such as "Civilized Campus" and "Safe Campus" in Shaanxi Province.
