The School of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data offers six undergraduate programs: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, and Internet of Things Engineering. It currently has 2,215 full-time undergraduate students.
Strong Faculty: The college has 107 faculty and staff members, including 16 professors, 34 associate professors, and 33 PhDs. 94.11% of the teachers have a master's degree or above, providing a solid guarantee for talent cultivation.
First-class facilities: It has 5 professional laboratories, 4 training computer rooms, 3 competition studios, and 4 scientific research laboratories, covering a total area of more than 3,400 square meters. It possesses over 5,000 sets of instruments and equipment worth more than 30 million yuan, and is equipped with advanced teaching and research facilities.
Outstanding Achievements: The college boasts 3 provincial-level first-class majors: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Internet of Things Engineering; it has established 1 national-level first-class course and 5 provincial-level first-class courses; it has won 3 provincial-level teaching achievement awards and 6 university-level teaching achievement awards; it has published 18 textbooks, including 1 provincial-level planned textbook; and it has 1 provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration center, 4 provincial and municipal-level scientific research platforms, and 1 municipal science and technology association academician and expert workstation.
Innovation-driven training: Adhering to the positioning of cultivating application-oriented technical talents, in the past 3 years, students have won 46 national and provincial-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and won more than 500 provincial-level and above awards in national A-level subject competitions, demonstrating outstanding innovation and practical abilities.
Industry-Education Integration: It has established a provincial-level modern industry college, offering micro-majors such as HarmonyOS application development, digital economy, and artificial intelligence. It has established in-depth cooperation with more than 30 well-known enterprises such as Bank of China, Apple, Mindray China, China Telecom, Bertelsmann, and iSoftStone, and has built an "order-based" talent training model, resulting in leading employment quality.
