Dr. Arfah Salleh, dean of Business School, University Putra Malaysia (UPM), visited Xi’an University

On October 14, Dr. Arfah Salleh, dean of Business School, University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Mr. Matsham

Ahmad, general manager of Malaysia business service and consulting center, Liu Bumin, director of Activity

center from Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, and Zhang Yongping, head of Malaysia

project department from Shaanxi Education Observation Culture Media visited our University.

President Xu Kewei met with the guests, accompanied by heads of the International Exchange Division

and School of Economics and Management.

President Xu Kewei warmly welcomed the guests. He introduced the basic situation of our school to Doc.

Arfah Salleh and expressed the good expectation of developing more cooperation between University

Putra Malaysia and our university. He actively advocated and encouraged the communication among

teachers and students with the School of Business in University Putra Malaysia.

Doc. Arfah Salleh spoke highly of Xi’an U’s good development momentum. She presented in details the

master's training program and the school's brand majors within School of Business in University

Putra Malaysia.She hoped the two universities could further strengthen the cooperation in the field

of management and accounting master's education. Doc. Arfah Salleh sincerely invited the leaders,

teachers and students of our university to visit University Putra Malaysia with the hope that deepening

understanding and enhancing mutual trust could be achieved by visiting each other.

After the meeting, Dong Xiaofeng, head of the International Exchange Division, and the related staff

accompanied the guests to enjoy a campus tour.
