The launch ceremony of Phase Ⅲ of Zippy’s Friends –Children’s Emotional and Interpersonal Competence Program is held solemnly in Xi’an-U

The launch ceremony of Phase Ⅲ of Zippy’s Friends –Children’s Emotional and Interpersonal Competence 

Program with an important influence in the international preschool education is held solemnly in our 

university. The distinguished guests are Mr. Chris Bale, director of partnership for children’s program;

Mrs. Caroline Eagar,Program leader of partnership for children; Mr. ZhangZhong, vicepresident of 

China’s social welfare foundation;Mr. Lizhongliang and Mrs. WangXiaoping ,vice-president of Xi’an University;

Mr.lvMingkai, chairman of preschooleducationresearch association of Shaanxi province;Mrs. LiuZhanlan, 

researcher of national institute of education sciences, and program leader;Mr. ZhangHuifeng, director of 

the enterprise sustainable development of HSBC China co.,Ltd.; Mr.ZhouYicheng, president of XI’an 

branch of HSBC China co.,Ltd,; Mrs.LiuMing, assistant director of third division of basic education

of education department of Shaanxi province; Mrs. CuiLing, director of third division of basic education of 

Xi’an education bureau. The participants also include guests of grogram teams from Beijing, Tianjin and Xi’an, 

representatives of 30 Xi’an grogram kindergartens and the media friends. After delivering speeches, HSBC 

issued the cheque to China’s social welfare foundation, and China’s social welfare foundation issued 

the program assignment book to Mr. Caijun,vice dean of teacher’s college as well as the program leader 

in Shaanxi province. All the guests also enjoined a performances by the lovely kids from the program 

kindergarten- Xi’an High-tech Arts and Science kindergarten and teachers who are trained in Zippy’s 

friends program.

Zippy’s friends program has been successfully promoted in 30 countries and regions in the world and more 

than one million children have taken benefits from it. Xi’an University and those program participants will 

view this launch ceremony as a new starting point to open up a wider cooperation field, to carry out deeper 

and more comprehensive cooperation. The preschool education teachers of Xi’an University acting as the 

head of the program, will train more than 400 preschool education teachers in 100 kindergartens in 

Shaanxi province, and fulfill the evaluation and training of the development level for more than 21,000 

children. The implementation of this program does not only has a great significance in the future

development of preschool education major in Xi’an University, but also has an important promoting

significance in upgrading the educational concept of preschool teachers and promoting the professional 

skills in our city and even Shaanxi Province; meanwhile, the implementation of the program can effectively

gather and integrate the high-quality resources and improve the implementation effect and benefit.
