Vice President of Josai University Visits Xi'an-U

On the morning of May 14, Mr. Kurabayashi masato, vice president of Josai university in Japan, and
Mr. Jiang Yinxing from the International Office, visited our university. The party secretary Lei Yingjie
and vice President of Wang Xiaoping, accompanied by the head of the International Exchanges Office
and the head of Foreign Studies School, met with the guests.
Lei Yingjie warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the development strategy plan of our university
in the next few years to the vice President. Our party secretary also asked the guests about our
exchange students’ study and living conditions in Josai university.
Wang Xiaoping said our university is willing to actively carry out all kinds of exchanges and cooperation
with Josai university about students, teachers and visiting scholars. She expressed, under the mature
conditions, our university would like to provide Josai university the corresponding help with Chinese teaching.
She also put forward several proposals for further cooperation.
Mr. Kurabayashi spoke highly of our joyful developing state and expressed welcome to the three teachers
from Foreign Studies School who are going to visit Japan. He introduced in details its double master training
projects at home and abroad and its in-service teachers' continuing education programs. He hoped the two universities could further and strengthen
the cooperation in more other fields. Mr. Kurabayashi sincerely invited the heads of our university, teachers
and students to visit Josai university. He expected to deepen the mutual understanding and reinforce
the mutual trust through access to each other.
Lei Yingjie gave gifts to Josai university on behalf of our university.
