Adviser of US Presidential Education Committee Visited Xi'an-U

On May 14, Dr. Karl Kuttler, the adviser of the presidential education committee, visited our university with
other two accompanying members. President Xu Kewei and vice president Wang Xiaoping met with the guests.
The two sides have discussed the issues like students exchange, teachers exchange and online education.
Wang Xiaoping said that our university is willing to actively launch the communication with American
Universities through Dr. Karl Kuttler’s visit so as to provide a broader international exchange platform
for students and teachers in our university. Dr. Karl Kuttler promised, after returning, he would actively
promote students exchange projects between two universities. What’s more, he would be inclined to
provide short-term exchange projects for the students in our university.
Dr. Karl Kuttler praised the thriving developing state of our university, and spoke highly of our infrastructure
construction, teachers and students quality, culture and art etc. He expressed to actively facilitate the
cooperation in almost every professional field between two universities. Both of the two sides agreed
to appoint special persons to this job, put the talks content into practice, and further promote
the cooperation and communication.
After the meeting, Dr. Karl Kuttler visited our school history room, the Guanzhong folk art gallery
and ceramic art studio.
