Mr. Guo Yaowen, the Member of Parliament of Sydney from Australian, Visited Our University

On September 23, Mr. Guo Yaowen, the member of parliament of Sydney from Australia, along with other 

two people, visited our university. Lei Yingjie, the Secretary of party committee, welcomed the visitors.

In the meeting, both parts have deeply discussion on students exchange, teachers exchange and 

academic visits between our school with Sydney local colleges and universities in the future. Lei Yingjie

 indicated that our school is willing to actively develop related exchanges of visits between students and 

teachers in colleges and universities as well as culture and art exchanges, and warmly welcome Mr. Guo 

and teachers and students from university in Sydney visit our school at any time.

Mr. Guo Yaowen said that China now plays more and more important role in the world, and Chinese 

overseas students have a significant effect in Sydney. As a Chinese-Sydney member of parliament,

old friend of Xian’ University, he is willing to actively promote exchange and cooperation in 

various areas betweenXi’an University and the local colleges and universities in Sydney, to make 

contribution in the education development for the two cities.

After the meeting, accompanied by Lei Yingjie, Mr. Guo Yaowen visited the campus.
