On the morning of June 19, our University held a departure symposium for the first batch of six exchange
students who have joined the student project of "3+2" exchange program and are going to Wright State
University in US. President Xu Kewei and Vice President Wang Xiao-ping were present at the
symposium. Heads from Office of International Exchanges, Office of Academic Affairs, School of
Mathematics and Computer Engineering, School of Chinese Language and Literature and School of
Economics and Management attended the symposium.
President Xu Kewei congratulated the six students on getting the opportunity to study in US. He hoped
the six students, as the forerunners, could work hard and really learn something so as to set role models
for the students in our University.
At the symposium, the six students expressed and promised to be self-disciplined, to study hard, to win
honor for our University, to set good models for the younger schoolmates and to actively do a good
job of propaganda for our University’s exchange program so as to promote the "3+2" project to develop
smoothly.
