Director Li Xining of Xi’an Municipal Science and Technology Bureau Signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement with Xi’an-U

On the morning of May 5th, director Li Xining with the delegation from Xi’an Science and Technology Bureau visited Xi’an-U and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Xi’an-U. President Xu Kewei attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. The leaders from Office of Teaching Affairs, Office of Science and Technology and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center attend the ceremony. Vice president Li Zhongliang presided over the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Wang Guang, director of Office of Science and Technology, made a report on scientific research innovation, industrialization of scientific research and platform construction about Xi’an-U. Yang Shuhui, director of the Center, reported on the innovation and entrepreneurship of students and the construction of the creative space. The two parties had specific discussion on the construction of the creative space. Li Zhongliang gave a speech on the scientific research, the application of master degree program, colleges of two levels of management innovation and expressed strong wish for the support from Xi’an Science and Technology Bureau.　

Li Xining introduces the growth pattern of “5552”and “Plan for Xi’an Enterprise Training”. He pointed out that with the support from the municipal Party Committee and municipal government in science and technology innovation, Xi’an-U will make full use of its advantages in resources through cooperation with the government and promote the building of platform. He also said that Xi’an Science and Technology Bureau will spare no efforts for service on school’s science and technology innovation and support the construction of Xi’an University.

Xu Kewei expressed thanks for the support of Xi’an Science and Technology Bureau on the development of

the school. He pointed out that the cooperation is not only the implement of development strategy on the innovation of the municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, but also a promotion on science and technology innovation ability and talent training quality and level of discipline construction, which play an important role of in the innovation development and enhance the ability of serving local economic and social development actively. Xu Kewei expected Xi’an Science and Technology Bureau continues to support the project, and strengthen cooperation and support in such aspects as development emerging field, innovative entrepreneurship, at the same time he hoped more academic exchanges and training guidance, and more opportunities for teachers to learn and participate in the teaching and scientific research to promote school scientific research strength and the service to the local economy.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties agreed that more intensive and comprehensive efforts be make in terms of discipline construction and staff training, advice and services in decision-making to government departments, research and development innovation and industrialization of scientific research as well as faculty exchanges.

Before the signing ceremony, Li Xining visited key laboratory of the surface engineering and remanufacturing and Yu’s Museum (Ceramics Museum).
