Delegation from Valencia of Spain Visited Xi’an University

On the morning of May 12,the first deputy mayor of Valencia city,Sandra Gomes Lopez and other seven guests from Spain visited our university. Our Vice Presidents Li Zhongliang and Wang Xiaoping met the visiting guests in the meeting center. Related leaders from the Office of Party and Government Affairs, Publicity Department, Local Service Department and the International Exchange Department attended the meeting.

Vice President Li Zhongliang extended his warm welcome to the delegation and gave them a general introduction o four university particularly in regard to international exchanges and cooperation. He hopes deputy Mayor Lopez’s visiting will deepen and promote the education cooperation and cultural exchange between Xi’an and Valencia cities. Vice Mayor Sandra Gomes Lopez expressed their heartfelt thanks for our warm receptionas well as intention for future exchanges and cooperation.Then both sides exchanged gifts and took a group photo.

After the meeting, the delegation and the leaders visited Xi’an-U’s History Room and students’ innovation center of Teacher’ School. The guests communicated with our students and spoke highly of our achievements.

This visit effectively promoted the mutual understanding, making significant contribution to the further communication and co-operation between bothsides in the future.
