The Office of Academic Affairs
The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for strategic planning, administration and evaluation of academic programs, resource allocation, , assessment, and academic policies. In addition, Academic Affairs provides leadership and is responsible for a wide range of matters concerning institutional effectiveness and accreditation requirements and processes; coordination of co-curricular activities and new student orientation with the Office of Student Affairs; coordination of commencement planning, public relations, fund raising, and coordination of strategic resource allocation with the Office of Administration；support for faculty research and teaching; and the administration of all academic departments and programs , and offices within the division of Academic Affairs.

The Office of Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs, a department within the Division of University Life, serves as a primary source of information and advice about co-curricular opportunities and resources. Staff members assist students in becoming involved in campus life, conduct leadership development programs, provide continuity for organizations from year to year, manage organizational finances, educate students about University policies, mediate disputes, advise event planners, and help students put classroom learning into practice through the techniques of experiential education.
Mission Statement
The Office of Student Affairs is a central provider of resources and experiences designed to supplement students' classroom learning and to contribute significantly to their personal development.  Through our programs, advising resources and services, and various forms of advocacy, OSA supports students in their growth as leaders and builders of a strong Xi'an-U community.
We seek and create opportunities to enhance student services and student life and development. This is achieved through teamwork, the‘can-do’ spirit and win-win partnerships with our stakeholders.
We consider students’ perspectives and needs and provide support, motivation and recognition to our students.
