　　The strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Xi'an University and China Mobile's Xi'an Branch was heldon March 24th. Wang Yuxuan, Party Secretary of Xi'an University, Chen Gang, President of the university, and Zhang Yufeng, Party Secretary and General Manager of China Mobile's Xi'an Branch, attended the ceremony. Relevant leaders from both sides also participated in the ceremony. Chen Gang presided the ceremony.

　　The Vice President of this university Wu Liandong and Feng Haiqiang, Deputy General Manager of China Mobile's Xi'an Branch, jointly signed the strategic cooperation agreement for "5G Smart Campus" construction on behalf of both parties. Wang Yuxuan, and Zhang Yufeng, Party Secretary and General Manager of China Mobile's Xi'an Branch, jointly unveiled the plaque for "Digital College Demonstrationsite."

　　According to the cooperation agreement, bothsides will fully leverage their respective resource advantages and jointly explore innovative applications of intelligent education, 5G, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence. They will carry out digital innovation practices and research and innovation cooperation in seven aspects, including information infrastructure construction, business system upgrading, data fusion integration, teaching informationization promotion, smart campus operation, school-enterprise operation assistance, and talent cultivation.

　　Zhang Yufeng said that China Mobile has actively implemented the "Digital China" and "Network Power"plans and attached great importance to the development of digital education, providing digital and information services to many universities. This signing marks a new stage of cooperation between the twosides. As the first comprehensive cooperation project of China Mobile's smart campus in Xi'an, the company will uphold high standards, high quality and build a school-enterprise linkage platform, work together to create a model for digital colleges, build a new ecosystem of collaborative development of operators and universities, and make contributions to promoting the transformation and upgrading of educational digitization in Xi'an.

　　Chen Gang said that using digital transformation to promote innovative development of higher education has become a strategic choice and a necessary path in the new era. As a "Shaanxi Provincial Pilot University for Digitization Transformation of Higher Education," Xi'an University continuously explores innovative reforms in smart education.Based on the positioning of a distinctive high-level urban university, continuing to strengthen cooperation with enterprises and government, this universityactively serves local economic and social development.This cooperation signing is an important measure to implement the national education digital strategy, and it is hoped that both parties will strengthen cooperation, fully tap technical and intellectual resources, innovate in the application of educational informationization, further realize "complementary advantages, co-construction, and win-win cooperation," promote the digital transformation of core scenarios such as teaching, learning, research, management, and services, and jointly contribute to the modernization of higher education.
