　　Recently, the Science and Technology Department of Shaanxi Province announced the "List of Identified Demonstration Bases for Introducing Foreign Intelligence in 2022" declared by the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering of our school was successfully approved, and our school was also recognized as the "Demonstration Base for Introducing Foreign Intelligence in 2022". The successful approval of this base is a major breakthrough in the provincial and ministerial level talent introduction platform of our school.

　　TheSchool of Mechanical and Materials Engineering ofXi’anuniversity has given full play to the advantages of the existing 6 provincial and municipal scientific research platforms. On the basis of the existing 2 youth innovation teams in Shaanxi universities, it has successively cooperated with foreign experts from the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Lebanon and other countries, and hired a Lebanese dual-doctoral degree fellow Ali to work full-time in the university, which.has made a significant impact on scientific research and talent cultivation. After many years of hard work, focusing on the key technologies of industry development, the advantages of talent teams, and the organic combination of domestic and foreign resources, a discipline innovation team of six countries has been formed. After the selection of the application, defense, and on-site inspection of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the talent introduction base was finally approved for the first time.

　　In the future, the base will carry out relevant cooperation efficiently and orderly, establish a set of international cooperation and management mode suitable for the orientation and characteristics of our school, give play to the unique role of foreign scholars in our discipline innovation, promote talent exchange, cultivate a high-level research team in the field of additive manufacturing andre-manufacturing, and integrate artificial intelligence with materials science, manufacturing science and other disciplines, toprovide strong support for solving problems in relevant fields.
