U.S. Delegation from Wright State University Visited Xi’an-U

From May 18 to 24, a delegation of 14 members from Wright State University led by group teacher Du Haili,
visited Xi’an –U for a period of seven-day tour study. Vice President Wang Xiaoping, together with leaders
from Department of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation, Student Affair Office, Logistics Department, School
of Humanities and School of Art met with the guests.
At the meeting, Wang Xiaoping warmly welcomed the guests. Students of Wright State University actively
consulted related issues of exchange-study to Xi’an-U. They showed great interest to our abundant curriculum.
Wang Xiaoping also warmly welcomed their visiting. She hopes to deepen cooperation and set up broad
foreign study platforms for teachers and students from both sides on the basis of frequent exchanges and
communications.
Wright State University and Xi’an-U have long and friendly cooperation relations. This experiential 7-day
learning trip, composed by group teacher Du Haili and students from school of Humanities of Wright State
University, provided a good opportunity for Wright students to get to know Xian U, and made a preparation
for their future study in Xi’an-U. During the visit, Wright students personally experienced our colorful school
life. Except for attending Chinese Language learning classes, the visiting teacher and students also
participatedin Tai-chi, Chinese calligraphy, pottery, folk music appreciation, campus Kara OK contest,
visiting the attractions in Xi'an and other internal and external campus activities. They spoke highly about
their visit.
