Lei Yingjie (Party Secretary) Headed a Delegation to Visit The University of Sydney in Australia

On the morning of November 14, Lei Yingjie, Party Secretary of the university headed a delegation to visit The University of Sydney in Australia. The visit was recommended and promoted by Municipal Government of Sydney.Robert Corker, Councilor of Government of New South Wales accompanied the delegation to attend exchange forum of The University of Sydney.

During the forum, Lei Yingjie expressed the will to strengthen exchange between our university and The University of Sydney so as to create better opportunity and cooperation platform for exchange between teachers and students of both universities. Dean of China Institute of The University of Sydney also expressed that he expects the exchange and cooperation with our university and he will organize delegation of teachers and students to visit our university; he also proposed to hold activity of"Exchange Day between Xi'an University andThe University of Sydney"in our university so as to promote educational cooperation between the two universities.Councilor Corker stated that Municipal Government of Sydney will also pay attention to and support the development of such activity.

During the meeting, both parties discussed in detail how to make further cooperation and signedFramework Agreement on Educational Cooperation between The University of Sydney andXi'an University.
