School of Information Engineering is divided into Department of Computer Science, Department of Mathematics, Department of electronic engineering. It offers seven undergraduate programs including computer science and technology,  software engineering, e-commerce, mathematics and applied mathematics, information and computer science, electronic information engineering and IOT engineering. Among these, software engineering is enlisted as a provincial comprehensive pilot specialty, computer science and technology is a provincialcharacteristic specialty construction spot.

　　School of Information Engineering also holds Xi’an Training Base of Software and Service Outsourcing (Xi’an University), the Demonstration Center of Shaanxi Provincial Personnel Training Mode, Xi’an Mobile E-commerce Lab, the Xi’an Demonstration Center of the IOT engineering and the Shaanxi Provincial  Experiment Demonstration Center of Computer. It is well-known for its provincial teaching team of computer application technology and software technology and the provincial top quality resource sharing course of “data structure” and “advanced language programming”.

　　School of Information Engineering nowenrolls 2261 undergraduates. It has 109 teaching staff including 11 professors and 24associate professors. Among them, 14 has got their doctor’s degree and 54 master’s degree.

　　16 labs and 4 training rooms have been built including Lab of IOT, Lab of Software Technology, Lab of Electronic Engineering , Lab of Embedded System and Application, Lab of Communication Theory, Lab of Electromagnetic Field and Electromagnetic Waves as well as Training Room of Mathematical Modelling.

　　Based on the application-oriented school-running mode, it has co-built the industry-university-research base and practice and training base with almost 20 enterprises such as ZTE and Digital China. To enhance the exchange and cooperation with overseas universities, it sends its teachers and students to many universities such asWright State University and University of West Scotland,

In recent three year, 4 national level and 10 provincial level projects have been approved, and 35 national level awards have been won.
