Brief Introduction of Xi'an-U Academics
Xi'an-U pay extra attention to innovation based on orientation of “Locality, Application, Open” . There are three aspects of academic featurs as following:
1. Key subjects
Some special funds has been created for key subjectand lab, including history, Chinese Literature, atomic and molecular physics , analytical chemistry onnational level and Literary theory , English Literature , Business Administration , teaching theory ( mathematics) , ancient Chinese literature, Marxism philosophy on university level.
2. Enhancement of teaching
Since 2008，Xi'an-U permitted 479 research projects at all levels , funding for scientific research Daozhang accumulated more than 1,000 million ，faculty members published 29 academic monographs , 144 textbook ; 3554 Papers on Periodical four national invention patents , 17 utility model patents were acquired by Xi'an-U staff, 40 of faculty Won the provincial and municipal government research awards.
3. Locality and application
Base on local economic and social development as well as technical difficulties，Xi'an-U conducted extensive social surveys so to work out solutions for problems has appeared already. 8 joint researching bases were built with local enterprises as well as many researching institutes built in campus.
