On the afternoon of June 27,Dr. Lawrence Zhang from the University of Auckland visited Xi’an University. He was welcomed by School of Foreign Studies. He delivered a speech entitled “What Research Has to Say about Metacognition: learning and Teaching English as a Reciprocal Endeavour”. He also engaged in a lively discussion of issues such as research and study with faculty members and students. After that, Professor Cui Jianbin gave a presentation, introduced Dr. Lawrence Zhang, and expressed the wish that two schools might develop a fruitful collaboration and extended a welcome to students from the University of Auckland to study at Xi’an-U.
