President Xu Kewei Participated the 22nd International Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering Association Conference

From May 19 to May 20, President  Xu Kewei and other four personnel participated in the 22nd International 

Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering Association Conference held in Venice, Italy. Professor Xu Kewei,

as the previous president of the Standing Council attended the council meeting at the night of May 19. 

In the meeting, change of the termof office of the council was completed and several matters were approved 

by the council.

In the 22nd International Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering Association Conference held on May 20,

more than 200 representatives from 22 countries, such as Italy, Britain, Germany, USA, Japan and Russia,

attended the conference. Representatives from China included four doctors from our university and other 

representatives from Chang'an University, University of Petroleum, Beijing Normal University and other 

institutes and enterprises. Participants conducted exchange on advanced heat treatment method, 

equipment and mathematical model of surface engineering through oral report and poster presentation.

Professor Li Yuanyuan of School of Mechanical and Material Engineering of our university introduced 

the scientific project titled Study on Radio Frequency Magnetron Sputtering ZnO and Ellipsometric 

Spectroscopy of Aluminum-doped ZnO Thin Film; and participating experts showedgreat interest

in such study and conducted deep exploration and communication with Professor Li Yuanyuan. 

Participating teachers expressed that participation in an international conference can enhance the academic 

level of teachers of our university and lay a foundation for further expanding the academic exchange and

cooperation by our university.
