The International Classical Concert Attached to the 4th Roundtable Meeting of Cities along Silk Road Economic Belt and Friendly Cooperation Week Held in Xi'an University

On the afternoon of Sep. 20th, The International Classical Concert attached to the 4th Roundtable Meeting of Cities along Silk Road Economic Belt and Friendly Cooperation Week was held in the auditorium of our university. Besides more than 50 guests from 9 countries including  Amna Baloch (Pakistan Consul General of in Chengdu), Hui bitway (Kampuchea Consul General in Xi'an) and Sam, Barraza Ni Jan (Armenia Gyumri City Mayor), Lei Yingjie ( Secretary of Party Committee in our university),  Xu Kewei (President of our university), Wang Xiaoping (Deputy President of our university) and Liang Wanqing (director of the Xi'an Municipal Foreign Affairs Office) have all attended the concert. Around 800 teachers and students from our university were also at present and enjoyed it.

In the concert, 13 international classic compositions were played by domestic and foreign performers, which stunned the audience in sight and sound by melodious tunes and skillful performance. Especially Armenia exponent Jiumu impressed them deeply with his exotic style.

By report, Xi’an will hold the 4th Roundtable Meeting of Cities along Silk Road Economic Belt and Friendly Cooperation Week with the title “Deepen Cross-cultural Communication, Accelerate Industrial Cooperation” during the 3rd Silk Road International Film Festival from Sep. 19th to Sep. 22nd in order to establish the practical cooperation platform among the cities along Silk Road Economic Belt.
