Delegation of George Fox University Visits Xi’an-U

On Apr.3,Dr. Annette Nemetz, theMBA program directorofBusiness School of George Fox University(GFU)and his partner visited Xi’an University. Zhao Tong, director of the Office of International Exchanges together withXu Jihong, Vice Dean of the School of Economic Management,Qu Yang,Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies,extended warm welcome to the delegation.

Director Zhao, on behalf of Xi’an-U, exchanged thecooperation memorandum with guests. Then Dr. Annette Nemetz introduced George Fox University 3 + 1 + 1 student project and students’ three-week summer exchange programs. Vice Dean Xu introduced thedisciplines features, featured specialtiesof the School of Economic Management, focusing on training target of accounting, economic and financial majors, bilingual courses and international exchanges and cooperation information. Mr. Xu also expressed the cooperation intentions and exchanged the views with Dr. Annette Nemetz on the following aspects like professional building, curriculum development, teachers visiting, student exchanges, and invited outstanding teachers from GFU to our school for short-term professional teaching. Vice Dean Qu introduced the undergraduate specialties and the information about teachers and students from School of Foreign Students sent abroad for visiting and learning. He also acquired information of GFU for foreign students such as admission requirements, language project, credits displacement.
Both sides expressed the hope that the further cooperation on the programs of teacher exchange, curriculum development, summer students exchange, 2 + 2 students cultivation project would be established soon.
