President Xu Kewei Visits Universite Nice Sophia Antipolis

President Xu Kewei paid a visit to Universite Nice Sophia Antipolis, Valross Castle, the site of her administrative headquarter on the morning of June 28 local time. On Xu’s arrival there, he was given a warm reception by Jean, the host university’s vice principal.

At the interflow meeting, Ms. Jean gave an introduction of the University’s history and development, administrative structure, schools and departments, specialties and majors as well as education and training in the hope of building an exchanging and cooperative relationship with our university in both education and scientific research.

President Xu Kewei expressed his hopes to carry out mutual cooperation and exchanges with Nice University. He made an introduction to history, development, academic research, cultivation characteristics of Xi'an-U. He suggested that the two universities should send exchange teachers to each other so as to do research work, and also have exchange students whose credits will be accepted by both universities. Furthermore, President Xu Kewei offered gifts to Nice University and invited the persons in charge to come to visit Xi'an-U. Also present at the forum are directors from School of Humanities, Engineering School, and Confucius School in Nice University, Zhang Tianshe, director of School of Humanities, Zhang Yunliang, director of School of Mechanical and Material Engineering, and Zhangsun Furong, an English teacher from School of Foreign Studies.
