　　Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology released the second batch of "Scientist + Engineer" teams in 2023. The teams led by Prof. Liu Ling from the School of Mechanical and Material Engineering and Prof. He Fengqin from the School of Biological and Environmental Engineering were approved. Liu and He were also selected as Chief Scientists for their outstanding contributions to the team.

　　This is a major breakthrough made by our university in the construction of provincial-level innovation team, and also an important achievement in implementing the "Seven Five" working mechanism to serve high-quality development of Xi’an and builda "university that understands best of our city”.

　　Jointly established by Liu Ling and Shaanxi Tonly Heavy Industries Co.,Ltd, the "Scientist + Engineer" team of construction machinery surface engineering and intelligent remanufacturing technology is mainly engaged in achievement transformation of construction machinery, draught fan parts and the oil water injection valve remanufacturing technology; and the team, organized by He Fengqin and Xi’an Xintong Pharmaceutical Research Co.,Ltd, aiming for the development of the targeting linked small molecules anti-tumor drugs, mainly conducts an in-depth study on mechanism of drug action and analysis of pharmacodynamic .

　　The listed two teams has advanced the goal to newly add aprovincial innovation team in the 14th Five-Year Development Plan of our university. Prof. Liu is a key member applying for Master degree conferment in the School of Mechanical and Material Engineering, and her being approved will strongly support the university’s work of applying for Master degree conferment .

　　With the two professors in our university as the Chief Scientists, the mode of the "Scientist + Engineer" research teams is formed to promote the connection between the university and enterprises, boost the integration of industryand innovation chain. Besides, the mode has smoothed the channels for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and technological innovationin enterprises, enhancing university’s ability to serve enterprises through research achievement.

　　The team selection is launched as the second batch of 300 organizations and institutions in the province this year,which is an important drive in promoting the construction of Qin Chuang Yuanplatform.
