　　On January 8, Party Committee of Xi’an University held a series of symposiums for outstanding young cadres, aiming at improving the effect of cadre training and helping cadres solve the puzzles on the way of being an experienced cadres. 48 outstanding young cadres from the first and second phases of training class, and cadres takinga temporary post were divided into 4 groups for exchanges and discussions. Zhang Junxue, Dean of the School of Marxism, Han Hongjian, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, Xue Yijun, Director of the Library, and Zhang Zhimin, a retired party branch organizer, were invited to participate in the forum.

　　In thesymposium, everyone introduced their own experience of training or being a temporary cadre, and shared their thoughts and insights. They all expressed their gratitude to the Party Committee for the effort to improve the quality of young cadres and to build an experience platform for young cadres, which enabled them to improve their political positions, broaden their horizons, strengthen their work style, and improve their decision-making capabilities. They said that in the future work, they will always keep their original aspirations, keep their mission in mind, boldly innovate, and take the initiative to work hard for the university to build a high-level city university with distinctive characteristics.

　　In the symposium, the invited experts highly affirmed the sharing of young cadres. They believed that young cadres have overcome difficulties through training andtaking a temporary post,and have the courage to face problems directly. Their roles have changed rapidly, their abilities have been improved, and good effects have been achieved, which fully demonstrates their youthfulness and sense of responsibility. Combining with the school's situation and their own growth experience, the experts encouraged young cadres and answered questions patiently for them. They hoped that young cadres will make a good plan, continue to study, practice earnestly, take the initiative, work hard to push the development of Xi'an University, and contribute to the realization of the "Dream of Xi’an University".

　　During the symposium, the Organization Department of the Party Committee put forward the requirements and expectations of the "four persistence" for the growth of young cadres. The first, young cadres should adhere to the improvement of theoretical quality by unremittingly reading the original, learning the original text, and understanding the principles. The second, young cadres should adhere to the improvement of one's own comprehensive capabilities, earnestly comprehend General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements for improving the seven abilities of young cadres, strengthen his beliefs, and take the initiative to strengthen and upgrade their ability. The third, young cadres should adhere to the improvement of their own ideas, perceptive and vision, and continue to strengthen the cultivation of teacher ethics in accordance with the standards proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and strive to grow into excellent education management cadres. The fourth, the young cadres should insist on growing through experience, cherish the current experience platform, learn while doing, improve themselves in the process of promoting the development of Xi’an University.
